Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural
At Laneshaw Bridge School, Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) development is an integral part of school life and underpins our commitment to developing confident, respectful and responsible citizens. Through our curriculum, school values and wider experiences, we encourage pupils to reflect on their place in the world, develop positive relationships and appreciate the diversity of modern Britain.
SMSC development is woven throughout all aspects of school life and supports our values of Ambition, Collaboration and Trust. We aim to provide pupils with opportunities to develop self-awareness, understand their responsibilities to others, celebrate diversity and contribute positively to their communities.
